Director of Outreach & Education
About me
Anne-Marie works in health care quality programming and is deeply dedicated to advancing health equity. She recognizes the importance of increasing health literacy among Asian Americans and addressing the disparities and challenges immigrant communities face. Through her involvement with AMASIAN, she aims to raise awareness and create space for meaningful conversations and lasting change to empower the AAPI community.
A Taiwan adoptee and Wisconsin native, Anne-Marie grew up in Spring Green and now calls Madison home. In 2019, she embarked on a heritage journey back to Taiwan for the first time since she was born—a meaningful and life-changing experience that deepened her connection to her roots and sparked a passion for embracing and exploring her Asian identity.
Her journey led her to AMASIAN. Inspired by its mission and impressed by the work being done in Madison, Anne-Marie knew she wanted to be involved. Since joining, AMASIAN has provided her with the opportunity to connect with other Asians and offered her a welcoming AAPI community.
Outside of work, you can usually find Anne-Marie hiking with her dog or spending time with family and friends. She loves animals, live music, plants, being on the water, the outdoors, traveling, and is always ready to learn something new or embark on an adventure—big or small.
